On-site interview in Da Nang, Vietnam for grad student recruitment
I will be visiting Da Nang, Vietnam for on-site interview this FEBRUARY, in order to hire highly-motivated, talented and passionate prospective Vietnamese students.
Our research group has conducted studies that physically analyze complex and various particle and fluid behaviors found at small and large scales, basing on flow visualization and measurement. The physical insights gained from the studies have led to finding novel and innovative applications in diverse scientific, engineering, and industrial fields. Our current research activities deal with the following multidisciplinary topics: (1) non-invasive and non-contact manipulation of colloids in suspension, (2) microfluidic approaches for efficient transport and rapid mixing of fluids in a lab-on-a-chip system, (3) biosensors for high-speed and high-sensitivity detection of pathogen and non-pathogen, (4) numerical and experimental analysis of complex heat and fluid flows occurring inside or around engineering systems, and optimization of the systems based on the analysis. The detailed information can be found in the “RESEARCH” tap of our group website (http://mpffcl.inu.ac.kr).
We prefer students who are interested in the following subjects: bio-microfluidics (bio-sensors), computational fluid dynamics, experimental fluid dynamics, and heat transfer. If you’re interested in pursuing your graduate degree at our group, please fill in this online form (https://forms.gle/qxwr7G64VoQnqkpy6) with your CV and transcripts for the onsite interview in Da Nang. If you have additional documents that can demonstrate your capability, like research articles or technical reports, please upload them either.
The location and date for the onsite interview are as follows.1. Location: Da Nang - Hilton Garden Inn
2. Address: 1st floor, 96 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Man Thai, Son Tra, Da Nang
3. Date & time: 10:00AM - 17:00PM, Feb 6th (Thurs.)~7th (Fri.)
